By accessing and using the Benue Integrated Commodity, Product, Services & Business Registration (BDICP) platform, you accept and agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree to these terms, please do not use our platform.

These terms apply to all users of the platform, including service providers (artisans), seekers, and any other visitors to our website.

BDICP is a digital marketplace that connects service seekers with verified service providers and artisans across Benue State and Nigeria. Our platform facilitates:

• Service provider registration and verification
• Service discovery and search functionality
• Review and rating systems
• Communication between seekers and providers
• Certification and credential management

3. User Accounts and Registration

To use certain features of our platform, you must create an account. You agree to:

• Provide accurate, current, and complete information during registration
• Maintain and update your account information to keep it accurate
• Maintain the security of your account credentials
• Accept responsibility for all activities that occur under your account
• Notify us immediately of any unauthorized use of your account

4. Service Provider Obligations

If you register as a service provider, you agree to:

• Complete the KYC (Know Your Customer) verification process
• Provide accurate information about your skills, qualifications, and services
• Maintain professional standards in all interactions
• Fulfill service commitments made to seekers
• Respond promptly to inquiries and service requests
• Comply with all applicable laws and regulations
• Not engage in fraudulent, deceptive, or illegal activities

5. Seeker Obligations

If you use our platform as a seeker, you agree to:

• Provide accurate information when requesting services
• Treat service providers with respect and professionalism
• Pay for services as agreed upon with service providers
• Provide honest and constructive reviews
• Not misuse the platform for illegal or unauthorized purposes

6. Reviews and Ratings

Our platform allows users to leave reviews and ratings. You agree that:

• Reviews must be honest, accurate, and based on actual experiences
• You will not post false, defamatory, or malicious reviews
• Reviews must comply with our community guidelines
• We reserve the right to remove reviews that violate our policies

7. Prohibited Activities

You agree not to:

• Use the platform for any illegal purpose or in violation of any laws
• Impersonate any person or entity or misrepresent your affiliation
• Interfere with or disrupt the platform or servers
• Attempt to gain unauthorized access to any part of the platform
• Use automated systems to access the platform without permission
• Harass, abuse, or harm other users
• Post false, misleading, or fraudulent information
• Violate intellectual property rights of others

8. Intellectual Property

All content on the BDICP platform, including but not limited to text, graphics, logos, images, and software, is the property of BDICP or its content suppliers and is protected by Nigerian and international copyright laws.

You may not reproduce, distribute, modify, or create derivative works from any content on the platform without our express written permission.

9. Disclaimers and Limitation of Liability

BDICP provides the platform "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind. We do not guarantee:

• That the platform will be uninterrupted or error-free
• The accuracy, completeness, or reliability of any information on the platform
• The quality, safety, or legality of services provided by service providers
• The ability of service providers to complete services

BDICP is not responsible for disputes between seekers and service providers. We act as a platform facilitator and do not guarantee the performance of any service provider.

10. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless BDICP, its officers, directors, employees, and agents from any claims, damages, losses, liabilities, and expenses (including legal fees) arising out of or relating to your use of the platform, violation of these terms, or infringement of any rights of another.

11. Termination

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate your account and access to the platform at any time, with or without cause or notice, for any reason including:

• Violation of these Terms of Service
• Fraudulent or illegal activity
• Misrepresentation of information
• Abuse of the platform or other users

12. Changes to Terms

We reserve the right to modify these Terms of Service at any time. We will notify users of significant changes by posting the updated terms on the platform. Your continued use of the platform after changes are posted constitutes acceptance of the modified terms.

13. Governing Law

These Terms of Service are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the Federal Republic of Nigeria. Any disputes arising from these terms shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Nigeria.
